1. Dimensions  
The diameter typically ranges from 0.4 cm to 10 m, with a maximum of 40 m.
2. High load-carrying capacity
They can simultaneously handle axial loads, radial loads, and overturning moment loads.
3. Low rotational speed
The operating speed is below 10 r/min, and in some cases, continuous rotation is not performed; instead, it rotates within a certain angle, performing oscillating motion.
4. Equipped with bearing housing mounting holes
It can be secured to upper and lower supports using screws.
5. No central shaft
The inner or outer ring is equipped with gears for rotational drive.  
6. Equipped with lubrication holes and sealing devices.  
The main structural types of turntable bearing housings include: four-point contact ball turntable bearing housings, double-row angular contact thrust ball turntable bearing housings, crossed cylindrical roller turntable bearing housings, crossed tapered roller turntable bearing housings, and three-row cylindrical roller turntable bearing housings.
Based on whether they have teeth and the distribution of gears, they are further classified into toothless, external tooth, or internal tooth types, among others.
Among these, four-point contact ball turntable bearing housings have higher static load capacity, crossed cylindrical roller turntable bearing housings have higher dynamic load capacity, and crossed tapered roller turntable bearing housings can improve support stiffness and rotational accuracy by applying preload. while three-row cylindrical roller turntable bearing housings increase the bearing housing height to enhance load-carrying capacity. Loads are distributed across different raceways, so under the same load conditions, the bearing housing diameter can be significantly reduced, making the main machine more compact.
