When selecting wheel hub bearings suitable for your vehicle, you should pay attention to the following aspects.

First, consider the load requirements. The axial load must be determined based on the vehicle type and application, as different vehicles such as sedans, trucks, and SUVs have different requirements.

The radial load must be calculated based on the maximum radial load the wheel hub bearing will actually experience during use, as this determines whether it can withstand the vehicle's weight.

Dimension specifications are crucial. The inner diameter and outer diameter must be selected according to the vehicle hub design, and the width must be appropriate to ensure compatibility with the hub design and sufficient load-bearing area.

Material and surface treatment are also important. Common materials include high-strength steel and alloy steel, which should be selected based on the usage environment to ensure corrosion resistance. Surface treatments such as galvanising and nitriding can enhance corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

Precision and performance must be considered. The precision grade must be selected appropriately, such as P0, P6, P5, etc. Noise and vibration must be minimised to ensure high driving comfort and stable wheel hub system performance.  

The design type must be carefully considered. Whether to use single-row or double-row bearings depends on the load distribution and support requirements of the wheel hub. Double-row bearings have greater load-bearing capacity.

Installation requirements must align with hub design specifications.  

Additionally, for hazardous materials fleets, there is a preference for bearings that require minimal maintenance, with simple upkeep and fewer maintenance concerns.  

Forging processes can draw inspiration from advanced multi-station high-speed forging presses used in Europe and America for hot forging production, employing medium-frequency induction furnaces for heating and tower forging techniques.  

Deep cryogenic treatment can enhance performance, but improving steel quality requires long-term research and investment.

In mechanical processing, the centre distance of the second groove on the outer ring and the axial clearance of the bearing axial unit have high requirements, and the outer ring must be precision-machined using corresponding turning tools.  

When selecting materials for cutting, hard turning is a good option. Cubic boron nitride (CBN) inserts can solve challenges, and coated cubic boron nitride (CBN) can improve precision and service life.

For 3.0-10 hub bearing dimensions, the inner diameter is 35 mm, the outer diameter is 62 mm, the thickness is 14 mm, the rated dynamic load is 10,300 N, the rated static load is 17,000 N, the maximum speed is 16,100 rpm, and the reference speed is 11,600 rpm.
